So the grand adventure of my ancient wacom tablet starts with the fact that I never used it. Couldn't get the hang of it, nothing looked like what I was capable of drawing on paper, etc, was just too frustrating to make much attempt with.

Well, I know I can draw, so I started working just a bit with the tablet.

Somehow or another I fiddled with some settings and the damn thing started to lag badly. I thought it was the tablet being old and done for but I wrote to wacom instead. A lovely rep known only as Steven, gave me some suggestions and much to my surprise, the tablet began to work again just as before!

So the other night I broke it out with OpenCanvas OLD edition and doodled and my work on the tablet is STARTING to look a lot like my work on paper. STARTING. But you have to start somewhere, right?

I even fiddled a bit with colors - put it in my scraps just to do something with it... will continue the practice though!
